Swim Apparel and Gear
Apparel
HAST does not have required apparel but we do have stores set up at The Deep End (local) and Swim Outlet (online) for various items. No apparel is required, however, each swimmer should have a one piece suit that fits them well. We recommend going to The Deep End if your child is interested in swimming at meets in order to be measured and purchase a suit (from them or another vendor) that fits snugly. Sizing between suit brands can vary and getting measured is a way to ensure the right fit with the first order.
Meet swimmers will also likely want a parka (these can be purchased from a variety of vendors) because they can get chilly between swims. Younger swimmers often use a large bathrobe. HAST supplies the equipment found in our store on Swim Outlet and swimmers do not usually purchase their own until they are in the Senior Prep/Senior groups.
Gear

Goggles - When getting goggles, make sure they fit! If the rubber seal is on the eyebrows, they will leak!
